Yes, Teribus, I suspect that list was made specifically for Americans to read. They are a bit baffled by some of the smaller details of British culture...as found in the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as a few other smaller places.

Well, this is good. It only indicates that there are even more good reasons for you to seriously consider moving to Canada, since you would find much here to make you feel almost like you were back at home in the UK, despite the paucity of surveillance cameras.
