I hold no particular brief for either Jim or Dick. I know them slightly and know that they live in Ireland. It seemed thus more than faintly ridiculous that someone who has taken a dislike to them was using this as an excuse not to sell some product in the UK where they are not resident.

Someone who is trying to imply that I think the two musicians in question are Irish because I have said that they live in that country is plainly demented. I am fully aware of their provenance and careers. My knowledge of Irish political history stems from having reported (both news and music pieces) from Belfast in the early 70s.
