Having once lived there, my advice is to stay to hell where you are.

If you must move, stay as close to Charlotte as you can, like in the northern burbs of Rock Hill, Riverview and the like..........The farther south you go the more South Carolina eats whale dicks...gigantic whale dicks! The coastal portion of SC is another state entirely as are the coastal sections of Georgia, NC and southern Virginia. I'm lobbying to have that area added as another state as the area has zipshit diddly squat nothing to do with the rest of the states they are in.

Inland SC is the absolute pits until you get to Rock Hill which is almost Charlotte. I once spent three weeks one weekend in Columbia and the night I spent in Sumter probably has taken several years off of my life.
