Any reason for preferring SC to NC? Charlotte is right on the border, so you could be equally close to the city in either state.

Like SRS, I'm wondering about you guys leaving Luray so soon after going to so much trouble to settle in there... I can understand it being a simple matter of "the boss sez so," but...Geez!

Is there any hope of coming out ahead financially on the real estate deal? That is, is there any hope that you'll be paid for the efforts you've put into improving your current property?

Or are you keeping your home and just trying to acquire a second base-of-operations for extended visits to the in-laws?
