I went out for about five minutes last night. The sky was black and the stars were splendid, and I saw a big, bright shooting star right away.

I went out just now, and stayed for the length of a margarita. The moon hadn't set yet and the neighbor has her yard lighted up like a used-car lot, so I didn't see any shooting stars at all. Maybe I'll watch a movie and try later. Sometimes I wish I could shoot out the neighbor's light. I think she's afraid of living in the country - so, I ask, why did she move to the country?

Still, it was nice to see our magnificent Ponderosa Pines in the moonlight.
