A statistician from MIT and a former shoe salesman for Carnival Shoes say that on Friday they will unveil evidence of what they claim is their biggest find ever: the body of Mediumfoot. Harry Farquette and Greg Darneer, a pair of Mediumfoot-hunting hobbyists from Wisconsin, say they have finally compiled the statistics on all 6 billion living humans (with a variable of + or - 3%), and have found the one human whose feet are the exact middle size.

They plan on unveiling Thomas Wheeler of Pittsfield Ohio as the World's Exact Mediumfoot in a ceremony on Saturday, August 23.

"What really caught us off guard -- what we could never have foreseen -- is that Mr Wheeler isn't even a D width!" exclaimed Mr Farquette in an interview on Tuesday.
