When I hear or sing the Graham Miles piece, I don't find it depressing. The "Loneliness" refrain carries the alone yet not hopeless sense for me; kind of a shepherd's blues feel.
"Woke up this morning, the sheep got lost today. My lady Loneliness Has carried me away. I've got the shepherd blues... Baa-aaa-aaad blues!"
I'm learning "Windward Away" too. I waited a long time to sing that one. Also "Every Man's Heart".
