SINS, I didn't answer earlier, but yes, I think you need to thin your cactus sprouts. Maybe divide them to a couple of pots and get rid of 3/4 of them. Leave 3 or 4 in each pot. You'll still have to thin again, but you're assuring more success of the ones left in the pots if they aren't over-crowded.
