As you can imagine, things are getting really exciting in Colorado, esp. on the eastern slope where the Democratic National Convention is about to get started. There've been a slew of local articles and electronic news reports on what Denver and the surrounding area have done to prepare, escape, and or welcome convention goers. One of the best and most interesting commentaries/reports that I've seen, so far, is a new article in the New Yorker about Gov. Ritter and the Code of the West. I esp. like that it points out it is now possible to drive from the Canadain border to the Mexico border and go through only states which are governed by a Democrat!

I don't know if you can watch any of Rocky Mountain PBS' shows online, but they have several which will be featuring the convention. You may find info on them HERE.

I do know you can listen to broadcast specials by Colorado Public Radio - cpr.org and that it should be interesting.

The last time the Democrats held a convention in Denver was 100 years ago. Needless to say, Denverites are excitied about this event. You may read more HERE. There are some neat photo links on WIKI of the 1908 event.
