Max: I know you have a thread on this and boy is it long!! MAy I kindly make a couple of uneducated suggestions. First, contact a lawyer asap. Second, write nmap and find out if they indeed sent the letter. the unprofessional attitude and the grammar and spelling errors makes me think this is either someone out for a joke or some rotten sod with a bone to pick against Mudcat. By all means do not ignore the letter! If it is real you open yourself and Mudcat to a world of legal hurt. If it is fake, the culprits should be caught and punished. As much as i tend to agree with Shakespeare about lawyers, they are needed in this case and let no mistake be made about that. I will be sending a cheque just as soon as I get the address.
