The day visitor carpark was muddy when wet but by mid afternoon is was dry enough not to worry. The theory goes that the whole area is chalk as can be seen on the Chiltern cutting on the M40 not that far away. Fast drainage is consistent with that. Dunno about camping I was there for the Sunday, only. But Sheila had few complaints, showers were busy all day but apparently no queues at midnight.
