I AM on Medicare, and so is my wife...and I (we) have to watch every penny. Neither of us could keep this house with only one of our Medicare checks. We were fortunate that we inherited a house from her mom, and were able to pay THIS one off....now we are occasionally borrowing against the value and barely paying the taxes & utility bills. ANY major problem or health emergency could sink us quickly.

Any guesses why I will be voting Democratic?
