There are some folks who start a thread when a previously damned near unheard of politician from Podunk, Kentorkia tells a boring joke. I guess it mirrors the fact that our 'news' programs have little to discuss so they re-hash the same crap or get the scoop on the the boring joke story. Some people care. I don't know who, besides the people doing the talking or typing, but somebody must. At least on Mudcat, people generally reply.

Olddude, sorry, but none of this stuff is important or permanent enough to do the work involved in combining threads. Some may die out eventually. In my case, I hardly ever read any of the political threads. Most of them seem to be same people/same shit/different day.
