The title of this thread rather amused me, particularly the exclamation mark. After all what on earth did anybody expect him to do - turn it down - Now that would have deserved the exclamation mark.

Sort of about as interesting as the headline:

"Dog Bites Man".

Interesting times ahead come January 2009. Obama & Biden v Medvedev & Putin, if so my money's on the latter pairing. Now put in McCain & (TBA) as representing the US and there is a chance things may stay on an even keel.
