Thank you Mick. Two points. I think the big "drivers" that I do are probably Famous Flower of Serving Men, Gentlemen of High Renown, and Brave Benbow. None of them use power chords.

Reynardine is pretty much a rip-off of teh Fairport arrangement - no power chords at all - but you are thinking of the bridge (mine, not Fairport's) with that striking repeated reference through the Em7 to and back from the C.


The only one I do that uses a bunch of power chords (that comes to mind at the moment) is "Henry Martin". It' also a LONG way from a 3-chord trick!
