Part of the problem is not what we call it but what other users mean by it. I've not searched under English Folk Music for well over a year as what it bought back was any video that had English, Folk or music in the title (trying to search for phrases then didn't seem to work - or at least I couldn't get it to work). For this reason the stuff I've loaded to my channel isn't tagged with English at all.
