Whitchurch was a great little festival ( I should know cos I was festival director for a while) But it got overtaken by some of the much larger and well financed festivals which appeared in the nineties.
Lots of now well known artists took their first bow there and plenty of established acts including Artisan, John Kirkpatrick , Sarah Grey, Brian Peters, Cyril Tawney & Harry Boardman to name but a few.
It should be a great reunion and we look forward to seeing as many of the "old stagers" as can make it. Being organised by Sue Rampton from Whitchurch who is no mean singer herself. I'll try and keep an update on plans
