Has anyone read Levitin's previous book: "This is Your Brain on Music"? It came out at the same time as Oliver Sack's "Musicophilia", which seemed to overshadow it in public attention (though I see it got on the NY Times bestsellers list, too). It sounded more interesting to me, but I haven't gotten to either, yet.
