I've heard two completely different tunes, one sometimes called "Napoleon Crossing the Rhine", and the other sometimes called "Napoleon Crossing the Alps." (substitute Bonaparte for Napoleon in either one.) The one I've heard as "Alps" is basically the same tune used for the song "Mick Maguire" which has the chorus "Johnny get up from the fire, get up/And give the man a seat/Can't you see it's Mr. Maguire and he's courtin' your sister Kate...". I'm going to check out the tunes from JC's tunefinder and see which ones are which, if they are different.
