Art, thanks, I got it!

Besides, when we knock off McCain/Barracuda, we are going to pass the Free Choice Act which restores the balance to the laws governing workers organizing unions.

More power to you all, Mick!

I know I have recommended this book before, but I will, again. It is The Alleluia Affair by Malcolm Boyd. It is a simple, but very profound, small book. You can read it in an hour or two. In it, every Jesus on crosses and stained glass windows throughout the world come alive and down off of their crosses to walk among humankind. What they encounter saddens each one, yet by the end of the book, there is a strong message of hope. I am not telling it very well. Here's what is on his website:

The Alleluia Affair (Word Books, 1975)
Jesus figures around the world come down off church crosses and leap out of stained-glass windows. But –do the crosses remain empty? The National Catholic Reporter said: "Poignant, lovely, sincerely optimistic."

For his current take on separation of church and state, please click here. Art, I think you will find much of what he writes, in this article and elsewhere on his website, interesting.
