Sarah Palin's personal views on abortion issues are anathema to me but even more so is the lynch mob mentality that seems to want to jump on every viral email that purports to have discovered some new salacious 'shock' revelation.

This persistence on engaging in the politics of personal character assassination may well backfire by creating feelings of revulsion in those undecided voters who are essential to both campaigns in this close run election
