Palin's husband is also, or at least was, a "card-carrying" member of the Alaska Independance Party, a group that supports rejection of statehood and seccesion from the USA.

This group's anti-establishment rants include quotes every bit as incendiary, if not moreso, than anything ever written or spoken by Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

This bunch is not all that far removed from the Timothy McVey school of political thought.
