The Bible that they revere as the literal, word-for-word Word of God is the King James Version. Try explaining to these freaks that all the English-language Bibles are the product of multiple and successive translations from ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, etc. ~ they'll denounce you as a heretic and, worse yet, as a "liberal."
