I love double standards.

Today, Obama is being criticized by the Republicants because he used the phrase "lipstick on a pig". McCain's fogies thought it was a sexist comment.

First, it is an old expression that McCain is on record as having used.

Second, if they thought it was sexist for Obama to use, why wasn't the lipstick phrase "sexist" when Palin noted that lipstick was the only difference between pitbulls and hockey moms?   Come on, if you are going to criticize for a standard - at least try to live up to it yourself.

Palin and McCain are going down in November - and not in the biblical sense.
