Foolsestroupe, there may be things the Democrats need to apologize to the American people for (like not standing up strongly enough against the Bush administration's trashing of our Constitution and our basic rights), but Obama's "lipstick" and "old fish" comments are not among them.   His remarks were directed squarely and explicitly at McCain's planned continuation of the failed policies of the past 8 years and were spot on.
