Good for you!

My friend's house has some amazing architectural features--they recycled big chunks of old demolished buildings in Seattle when it was being built (doors, windows, lintels, beams, etc.) so it really is remarkable. But there is a lot of extra stuff that they wouldn't miss if it was gone. I remember when they were building that room. It's just full of stuff now, it didn't add to their ability to enjoy the house. I think that maybe they'd have been better off subtracting stuff from the existing house (contents) than building more house.
