Oh, gawd, more canning jars. . . I wish some of you folks who are getting out of that business lived closer!

My canning friend made it to the Friends of the Library meeting tonight. We ended up chatting with the catering chef about a couple of her recipes. . . aren't we incorrigible! But at the same time, I like the idea that guests can stand and chat with the wait staff (as long as we don't keep them from doing their jobs). Especially since Aramark, that has the campus food service and catering contract, hires students. They have some of the BEST educated servers around. Today, waitress or waiter, tomorrow, electrical engineer or nuclear physicist. Many are MS or Ph.D. students. :)

I understand what you're saying Kat. But I've taken so long, I need to occasionally pause, look around, and see what I'm being too slow or fussy about. I want to move this job along because I have so many other things I want to be doing.
