That's because they (politics and religion) are the Great Dividers of humanity. And you know why they are? Because they both tend to assert that there's only one right way..."our way"...and that everyone else is wrong.

That is the basic error in their thinking. There isn't only one right way, there are many right ways for different people who have different needs and who live in different ways.
