Aha ! Lovely song ! I wonder if you know that this song features, specified in the script, in a very funny scene in the Alan Ayckbourn play - "Flat Spin" ? In the play, a girl is pretending she is the owner of a luxury flat and has invited a man over for dinner, wanting desperately to impress him. (She doesn't know that the minimalist furnishing is because the flat is actually not occupied - being used as a surveillance cover by the police). She picks out one of the only 2 CDs as romantic background music.....only to find that when it starts to play it is dear old Val singing Paddy McGinty at maximum volume. "Err...do you like this ?"- "Oh, yes, can't get enough of it " - she says, jigging about.

Here is the song on YouTube with a lovely film of pygmy goats and other cute creatures
