"The Feeling That You Wanted To Go" was most likely written by Durante himself. He wrote most of the songs he preformed himself. Used in many recordings and used on his Rexall radio show with Garry Moore back in the 50s. Other songs with a special ring to it were "It's my Nose's Birthday"---"I'm The Guy Who Found The Lost Chord"....and "Hot Patatta."

I'd like to add I believe I do the best Durante impersonation in the country. Jimmy told me when I did his voice back in the forties, "You're an impostor."
