Fluorescent light bulbs and a box of expired beauty salon chemicals are going to the hazardous waste dump today. I've a few other things on the To Do list that take me to that side of town. I'll mostly be working in the yard today, but I'll quit in time to make that run. I don't always have a lot to take over there, but I do feel a little more virtuous that I can take these things where they will be disposed of properly. The light bulbs can be taken back to Home Depot, but not the rest. (The beauty chemicals are left in the home of my late hair-cutter's partner. It's time to move on. We're planning a nice afternoon of yard work and lunch. Then the hazardous waste run. I'm planning to not turn on news or the radio the whole time--I'm looking forward to an afternoon of work and not listening to more of the Sky Is Falling on Wall Street.)
