This will seem a stupid question to many of you, but I got asked the other day and I just don't know the answer. What's the difference between bluegrass and country? I know (I think) that they have a common origin but since then (I assume) they've branched along their respective evolutions and now ...? How do you explain what makes them different kinds of music? Thanks.
