In 2007, she praised a pastor in Africa because his prayers helped her win the governorship according to her. The same pastor who was "called" to a specific town in Africa, who found a "cloud" of evil over the town and fingered an older woman as the "witch" who caused it. He harassed her, told her to "leave town or be saved" to the point where the police raided her house, two hundred townspeople rose up against her and, reportedly she left town. A witch as far as he was concerned...maybe not a far stretch for that woman from Alaska perpetrating such things in her extreme Christian way.

I also read that her husband is known as the "Shadow Governor" as she shares the government doings with him. Which fits with my personal experience of former in-laws who belonged to an Assembly of God church where they speak in tongues, etc. Every woman in that church, at the time I knew it, had to be completely obedient to her husband.
