Linn, I had to look up what refrigerator pickles were! I guess they must be sort of like the recipe I *think* I had in the Mudcat Cookbook, only we never called them that and didn't use as many spices nor sugar. We all loved it when mom made them, just sliced cukes in vinegar water with slices of onion. Cover, put in frig and enjoy after they've had a good soak. Yummy! Only thing is I want to cover them with salt when I eat them and I have to watch that!
