That is so depressing. ". . . J.T. Foxx, a self-proclaimed real estate investment guru whose motto is "Get Rich or Die Broke." Foxx hosted a Chicago radio talk show every weekend where he offered investment advice."

This is the kind of guy who benefits from the bail out, because after he skims the value from the market, the government is going to pick up after him and replace value at the taxpayers expense. Foxx needs to repay the cash and go to prison, but will he? He should simply have this all taken away from him and returned to the original owners, but you know that isn't going to happen. He'll charge that it is a "taking" and it will go out from there.

Re the "Bail Out": Congress needs to tell Bush "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Don't let him call the shots. If the proposed bail-out goes the way Bush wants ("just sign here, we'll worry about the numbers later") I guarantee the nation will be ripped off worse than it has already, making Reagan's Savings and Loan crisis look puny by comparison. You know darned well Bush's buddies are lining up to line their pockets. And European banks--they're talking about bailing out U.S. securities purchased by Euro banks! Where are they going to draw the line? Bush was always a mistake, but damn, he's really going out in a blaze of glory, isn't he? Taking the whole financial world down with him. Who knew George HW Bush's boy could be so terribly toxic? (Well, a lot of us did, but no one paid us any attention.)
