Commiserations to you. It's hard. My ol' cat does not have cancer but his kidneys are failing and I have to hydrate him at least once a month. At this point, just like Homer, he is happy, affectionate and not in pain. He even purrs as the liquid is being squeezed under his skin. As long as he remains thus I'm happy to have him - between me and my book, between me and my computer screen, between me and my pillow. :)
