My not-so-young and not-altogether-healthy feline companion Grisabella send our sincere condolences.    (Grizzy is licking a bare patch on her hind leg as we speak, making me pray that it's just the residue of her 'secondary flea-bitis' that's the culprit and not something more serious, but she really does send positive kitty vibes your way.)

I'm so glad you were able to be with Homer at his leave-taking.   So sad to lose him so soon, but I'm sure he knew how much he was loved.
