I posted this a while ago; the new hi-res on-line version. (The loggie, not the badger). Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think if too many people try to watch at once it clogs up the nfb system.

Wade originally wrote the song (along with several others) for an NFB documentary called Spring Drive. The producers thought it was too "light-hearted" for documentary. Lucky for me, though, perfect for animation! The opening live shots are "outs" from the Spring Drive film.

Wade did spend a lot of time in Northern Ontario as a surveyor for the power companies. His song "Black Flies" was also made into an animated film, by my friend Chris Hinton.
