Electric Voices will be presenting a stunning double bill of a concert at Farnham Maltings (in the Tindall Room - NOT the main auditorium) on Tuesday, 7th October 2008 at 8 pm when Nancy Kerr, James Fagan and Robert Harbron ("a dynamic new super-triio (with) driving tunes and spell-binding harmonies") join Methera on the same bill as part of their UK tour.
Methera comprise Lucy Deakin, John Dipper, Emma Reid and Miranda Rutter - "a ground-breaking ensemble that unites the rich texture of the string quartet with the depth and integrity of traditional music".
To quote their publicity, this is a "magical double-bill featuring two of the most exciting bands on the English folk scene performing individually and together".
Further information can be obtained from the Electric Voices website at http://www.electricvoices.org and tickets which cost £12 in advance (or £14 on the day) can be ordered from the box office on 01252 745444.
(NB This is the only date on the tour which is in the Home Counties and close to London - the venue is easily accessible from the rail station in Farnham)
