Fingers crossed for that washing machine shopping!

The holidays are coming, so it's time to list on eBay the items that someone might buy as a gift for a collector, along with the seasonal things (I sell things like sweaters and warm shirts this time of year).

I hope you can use that much flour fast enough to avoid it going rancid or growing weevils. I don't try to stockpile it much even with all of the baking I do, and I learned my lesson regarding finding a "too good to be true" price. I was at Big Lots a few months back and bought a couple of 5lb bags of whole wheat. When I opened the first one I realized they were rancid--so much for that savings! I buy fresh flour on sale in grocery stores that do a lot of turnover and I freeze it (wrapping the bag in a plastic bag before putting it in or it can pick up scents from the freezer).
