Freight Train: Jean Ritchie was giving a performance and was about to launch into another song when the CSX (the spawn of the old L&N after many a corporate merger) passed a crossing in town and blew its whistle.

Instead, she laid her dulcimer back down and sang "The L&N Doesn't Stop Here Anymore," her voice punctuated occasionally by the whistle as the train passed another crossing.
