Thread Name: BS: De-cluttering in earnest - September
Subject: RE: BS: De-cluttering in earnest - September
As I looked at and described one garment for eBay I realized that this was something I should probably keep. And I need to rearrange my coat closet in the hall so that the things I do keep are actually getting use through the year.

I did some more cleaning and de-cluttering around the living room last night, taking out stuff that has accumulated and put it in more logical places. I am leading up to rearranging the room one of these days. Part of that means attacking the mess in the corner where my son's computer desk is.

I have also cleared out the fridge more (I listened to the Friday debate and cleaned and chopped peppers). I have five eggplants I picked in the last couple of days (and a couple more ready to come in) to cook up. I have a new recipe (I got through on the radio to Lynne Rosetto Kasper yesterday, in a local call-in pledge drive show, and though she spoke too fast I'll look up the recipe she suggested.)

It has been a busy radio weekend--this morning I got through to the organic radio guy and asked several questions about getting the garden ready for next year and what to do with the bare spots now. He says to do more bed prep and put in fall crops even though there are pests in the nearby existing plants. Be sure to do good soil preparation first. So I'm carefully pulling out the soaker hoses then off to the nursery to get a few bedding plants. (I picked up some chard yesterday).
