Other fiddlers I like: Winifred Horan of Cherish the Ladies and Solas, Mark O'Connor, Johnny Cunningham, Eileen Ivers, and a couple of local boys of whom you've probably never heard: Kenny Putnam of a legendary 1970s South Dakota country swing band called the Red Willow Band, and Buckley Mills who played briefly in the early 90s with a band out of Sioux City, IA called Jain Jeffer, whose music can best be described as Acoustic Celtic Acid. He quit music to go to premed school, unfortunately.
