I think it's apt. Evita and hubby were thugs. If (heaven forbid) Sarah gets in, it's curtains for anyone who disagrees with her handlers. I wonder how much the right wing pressured McCain to select her. I would like to think he at least has been around enough to understand where she is coming from.

Do you who like her really want a (potential) pres who cannot feal with the press?
Who thinks it's mean to ask her about her qualifications? (like the other candidates didn't have to answer that question.)

I live in a pretty conservative neck of the woods, and many people are so mad at the GOP they'll vote for whoever the Dems put up.

The right wing has finally managed to split up the GOP, and it's high time. Mainstream GOP are not anti-abortion, or religious fanatics.

I can't wait to hear the results of the VP debate. I hope Biden wiped the floor with her. Not that she won't cry "meanie."
