Bad math and bad journalism. Someone noted a pyramid that big would be something like ninety miles high, and though the first dozen or more comments have been basically saying 'get your math right', msnbc has not bothered.

I hate articles done like this. here you have a news org. that has the money, the bodies and the resources to report an interesting story, but they don't report it, they get their facts wrong, they mix up the main story with completely different stories, and make mistakes a nine year old would notice.
