Subject: RE: BS: Lint On A Blanket: Help
I have a "sweater stone" that my sister sent one year as a stocking stuffer. She bought it at Eddie Bauer. I haven't had many occasions to use it, but it is like a really porous piece of pumice and picks up the lint without the possible hazard of leaving behind sticky tape residue. It works well.
"Sweater Stone is especially useful on all natural and synthetic knits. Its unique, pumice-like surface quickly lifts and trims fibers on sweaters, shirts, skirts and jackets. It can be used on a variety of fabrics, including suede, wool and all cotton clothing. . . even on upholstery."
They still have them. Under the "Bags and Gear" category and then go to "survival kits & gadgets." (I'd send the link, except I got there via a search and I don't think it is durable.)
