Here's a heads up. I was singing on the street at our Pike Place Market in Seattle last Friday, when I was approached by the acting Market Master. She asked if I would allow a film crew to use some of my music for a commercial that they were going to produce. The project was to raise awareness to the voters in the area about a proposition measure on this year's ballot. The measure will help to find funds for much needed repair and restoration of the Market's substructures. I agreed to help and offered my bottleneck slide blues version of "51 Highway Blues" and my musical saw version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". After they had finished filming, I continued to busk, offering my latest song, "Wall Street Bail Out Blues". The crew liked the lyrics and reaction that listeners gave me so much that they offered to film that song and place it on YouTube for me. I'll post a link to it as soon as they've got it posted there.
