I've been thinking about the dryer, using just the "air only" setting. The blanket is cotton and wool and I might need a larger dryer than the one I have.

I'm also considering placing an old wool Army blanket over the top of the Raven one. Since the Army blanket rides around in the car I don't really care it it has lint on it or not, as long as it's warm if I need it.
