Thread Name: BS: Lint On A Blanket: Help
Subject: RE: BS: Lint On A Blanket: Help
Hain't read the whole thread, but when I have a mega-linting to remove I use cheap duck tape. Lay out blankie on a flat surface and do a section at a time.

Never mind bothering to roll the tape around your hand so you can be a lint roller. Just tear off a piece of tape. Lay the tape onto the blanket. Press it down and run your hand across. Tear the tape off the blankie like a pand-aid. Repeat.

You'll get several uses out of each piece, with each piece's turn doing less well as it goes along, so start the next piece lightly picking up what's been missed as you start each new section.

It develops a rhythm. You don't even havbe to look too closely as you work-- you can watch TV or listen to music. Can be done outdoors on a pretty fall day on a picnic table.

Be creative, but it works: I de-lint a LOT of black items from the thrift shop that become professional clergy clothing, tote bags, a laptop case coated in cat hair and dust......
