I love the google ad that appears on my screen with this message. The text reads:

Smelly Socks
Bargain Prices. Smart Deals. Save on Smelly Socks!

I'm not even making that up!

But I'm almost positive there's a [very old] thread (or six) on precisely this topic. It goes along with the ones about folkies with versus without beards and on an on and on...

We seriously need more interesting lives! Socks with sandals are just fine. It's sandals with socks that I don't like.
